The following is the approximate timeline for rating system development in 2005:

January to May 2005
Core Committee revises rating system in subcommittees.

May 2005
3rd Core Committee retreat is held to review revisions and produce draft for Corresponding Committee.

June – August 2005
Draft is sent to Corresponding Committee for comment. Staff and Core Committee process comments.

Fall 2005
Core Committee revises rating system into pilot draft. 4th Core Committee retreat is held to develop business delivery model.

Winter 2005
Pilot launches.

Outreach activities in 2005 will include:

• Developer Roundtable
• Formation of a Local and State Official Advisory Group
• Stakeholder events and sessions at the following conferences: New Partners for Smart Growth, American Planning Association, Congress for the New Urbanism, Urban Land Institute, Greenbuild.

Business planning and related administrative activities in 2005 will include:

• Contractor recruitment to refine metrics, develop pilot program, and possibly help with development of delivery model.
• Comprehensive market research to both re-examine existing research for other LEED markets. and conduct or contract research specific to the LEED-ND market.
• Pursuit of continued or additional grant support from interested agencies and foundations.
