All of these urban neighborhoods were once pristine suburban subdivisions with a single developer or small group of developers. We will locate and post photographs of these neighborhoods when first developed, and today, to underscore the point that today's Old Urbanism was yesteryear's New Urbanism, and therefore that today's New Urbanism, in due time, will be tomorrow's Old Urbanism -- that time is the most necessary ingredient to create the "authentic urbanism" that many critics of New Urbanism cite in false opposition to NU.
