School Generation Rates

New Urbanism does not significantly impact school generation rates, except to the extent that it promotes a wider mix of housing types. Smaller housing types (e.g., multifamily) will generate fewer students than single family housing; see: http://www.acscp.org/palm%20beach%20multiplier.doc

However, school generation rates should be locally calibrated, at least based on state level data.
