SmartCode creator Andres Duany, New Urbanists are undertaking an intriguing experiment, building a version of the SmartCode that evolves based on input from a wide variety of practitioners. It's a living SmartCode.

Using an interactive web platform known as "wiki", this project is designed to give you a role in writing a version of the SmartCode that responds quickly to the evolving conditions and challenges found in the field.
